As
a consultant to the architect (PDT Architects), allied
engineering, inc. provided structural design for this new medical
clinic owned and operated by the University of New England. The
project includes major renovations to an existing two-story house
of 4,100 square feet and the construction of an attached two story
structure of 18,150 square feet. Structural changes to the house
were required to create usable open spaces. New mechanical and
electrical systems were designed through design/build contractors,
Ledgewood, to service both existing building and the new
construction.
