As a consultant
to PDT Architects, allied engineering, inc. provided the
structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering design to
renovate existing space to accommodate a new CT Canner. the size
of the power units was such that space originally designated for
this was inadequate. The units were ultimately placed in an attic
mechanical room above the CT Scanner. this, and the weight of the
unit itself required upgrades to the floor structure.
