Mt. Blue Middle
School
Farmington, MaineConstruction is
complete on this 65,000 square foot, 400 student middle
school. A 28,000 square foot addition housing an Art Room,
Band Room, Cafetorium and Full Service Kitchen, a Teachers
Lounge and Science Rooms provide for much needed space
within the facility. Initially, an IAQ and Ventilation
project, AEI worked with the building committee to
define programming needs for the space, future student
needs, and curriculum deficiencies. HKTA / architects of
Portland, ME assisted AEI with this evaluation. The
end result is a state of the art middle school, inclusive of
technology infrastructure and equipment to meet both current
and anticipated needs of this Mount Blue Middle School.
