UnumProvident has three main buildings on its Portland, Maine campus: HO-1, HO-2, and HO-3, as well as a proposed HO-4.  There were boiler and chiller plant issues at each building that needed to be addressed, including lack of redundancy, aging equipment, future growth, and poor operating efficiency.  AEI addressed these issues with a new a centralized boiler/chiller plant that was constructed in 2004.  This state of the art mechanical plant will support UnumProvident needs well in to the future.
