During the past 10
years, Pratt & Whitney has
continually renewed its contract with allied engineering for
general engineering services. During this time, allied engineering
has provided a variety of designs for changes, modifications and
upgrades to structures, and systems in the ultra high-tech
manufacturing plant. In general, the engineering work performed
included changes to the mechanical and structural systems for the
building such as:
Condensate system replacement
Exhaust scrubbers, and re-routing
Office renovations
Nitrogen & Hydrogen piping system replacement
Boiler upgrades
Structural upgrades of 13 acre building facility
Make-up air improvements
Asbestos sampling
Quality Control Testing Laboratory HVAC systems
Interior and Exterior piping system supports
